Obituary for Lynn Coach

Funeral services for Lynn Coach 83 of Athens have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 8, 2019 at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Judy Allbright officiating. Burial will follow at Judson Cemetery in Cayuga.
Mrs. Coach passed away Wednesday morning in Athens.
She was born April 9, 1936 in Palestine, Texas to the late Pack Marshall and Claudia Marie Matthews Bell. Over the years Lynn had many different careers she was a wedding consultant, sales clerk and a teacher’s aide working with special needs children in Cayuga and Athens. She was a member of First Baptist Church Athens and was active in the Adult I Sunday school class and the small group choir. She volunteered many years as a member of the hospital auxiliary, Meals of Kindness and the Clothes Closet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son; Darren Johnson, granddaughter; Jennifer Lynn Darnell and sister; Kathleen Bell.
Survivors include her daughters Cheryl Fields and her husband James, Denise Jones and her husband Harold, grandchildren; Justin Fields, Michelle Bolton, Brady Johnson, Sandra Shaddock and Cheyenne Jones, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Athens Thrift Store 1419 E. Tyler St. Athens, Texas 75751.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Arabella and Green Oaks Nursing Home for the care that they gave Lynn.
