Obituary for Tyler James Harris

Tyler James Harris was born in Athens, TX on April 15, 1996. He passed away on November 14, 2019.
Tyler loved his family with all his heart. He was a protective older brother to all his siblings, especially his sister Christina. He was most happy when his family was together watching football, playing backyard football with his uncles, or just spending quality time. Tyler attended all family events and always made a special point to attend his sibling’s activities. He had a “pickers” eye and enjoyed going to flea markets and estate sales with his grandparents, collecting knives and other things. His dream, even from a young age, was to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer. He had a giant heart and was loving, kind, and generous to anyone in need, to his friends he was loyal to a fault. He had a few loves including his Dallas Cowboys, fantasy football, Ford Mustangs and of course, strawberry cake!
Tyler is survived by his mother Jame Sealey and stepfather John, his father, Mark Harris; siblings, Christina Cole, Jacob Harris, Felicity Harris and Kaylee Harris; grandparents, Judy Welborn and husband Steve, Jack Edmondson and wife Kim, John Harris and wife Patti, Glenda Sealey, Bill Sealey and wife Eva; aunts and uncles: Shawn Welborn, Shane Welborn and wife Natalie, Summer Jones, Beth Bacon, Kyle Pochobradsky and wife Kim, Coby Pochobradsky, Taylor Welborn and wife Alicia; cousins, Carter, Bryce, Addison, Ryan, Cooper, Dakota, Mason, Max, Katie, Anna, Jackson; special friends, Sarah Pass, Anthony Anderson and Heath Clay; along with numerous other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2 pm, Monday, November 18, 2019 at Sand Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Erick Graham officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Henderson County Peace Officers Association. P.O. Box 1448 Athens, Texas 75751.
